Web Design

Datse Multimedia has been designing web pages on a limited basis for 10 years. Jigme is currently taking the web component of the Digital Arts and New Media at Selkirk College and finding that this is greatly improving her ability to write web pages and sites.

Design Essentials

Datse Multimedia works with standards compliant HTML and CSS with WCAG 10 conformance level Double-A. We also look at what Triple-A conformance to as much as possible.

We work closely with the clients to come up with a visually appealing design that fits the clients' need. While our designs have been pretty simple to date, becoming more advanced to produce something more exciting.

Sample Websites

Datse Multimedia has worked on a number of websites, this is a sample of what is currently active. Most of these sites are probably going to be redesigned in near future. This page may not reflect the current status of these websites. A number of designs in the past are "lost to the mists of time".

TR By Hand Website

Tricia Rasku By Hand

This site was created by Jigme for her mother's Fibre Art business. This site will be re-designed in the near future because it just doesn't meet the design standards that Jigme currently has with regards to visual appearance. She hasn't spent as much time as she would have liked to on this.

This site has undergone many revisions, and will probably go through a number more before it becomes more or less stable. The content unfortunately is not updated on as regular a basis as the Tricia Rasku would like to have it upgraded.

Kootenay Meditation Website

Kootenay Meditation

Kootenay Meditation is the latest project that Datse Multimedia is working on. While the content that is there is complete, there is a lot of content that is to come. We are working on gathering that content and providing it as a web presentable format.

This site looks to present some of the art of meditation. This will hopefully be a very diverse site, with content from a number of sources. At this point most of the content is not there. Hopefully in the next week or so it will start to appear as the content is collected.
