About Datse Multimedia
Datse Multimedia is a multimedia production company focusing on digital photography and web design. We also do a bit of graphic design, mostly in regards to deigning graphics such as logos and other graphics for websites. We believe that helping the client express what they wish to express, and do so as fully as possible.
How We Work
We work by working as extensively with the client to come up with a series of ideas that may work for the client then taking those ideas and roughing them out first on paper, than coming up with a number of options given time on the computer. We try to work with the client as closely as possible during the design process, and then spend an appropriate amount of time coming up with the product for evaluation.
We try to as much as possible work with the standards that are set out by the standards organizations relevant the projects we are working on. This mostly refers to web design, and coming up with code that is compliant to the w3.org standards with regards to XHTML 1.0 strict, CSS strict, and WCAG 10 conformance level Double-A, aiming towards Triple-A conformance when possible
Mission of Datse Multimedia
Datse Multimedia tries to help people express who they are especially those who are less understood in society. We are working on a number of projects to expose the more positive side of some of the most stigmatized activities, and conditions in society.
About Jigme Datse Rasku
Jigme Datse is the primary multimedia artist in Datse Multimedia Productions, and is currently working on getting her Digital Arts and New Media diploma at Selkirk College. She is taking her time with this, currently working on Digital Photography and Web Design, with the addition of 3D Modeling and Animation next term.
Jigme has disability issues and works with them to enhance her ability to understand the complexity of other people's situations. She realizes that she sometimes is not able to do work as quickly as she would like, and works hard on getting things done ahead of schedule and scheduling "down time" in her proposals for if she does have a increase of disability related issues.
