What have I put together?  Darn good question, the first document I put together was a 1 page outline of the kind of work that I have to do to pull a website together.  That really is just something that will help me schedule my time through the process of developing the websites that I will be designing, but also give the client some idea what degree of work is involved in building a website the way that I build them.

The second document I created was based on that which just went through in more detail just what all the various “major steps” of creating a website are, and why they are so very important.  This document I think is very useful for my clients to see as they see what they are paying me for.

The third document is about what I will be looking for on our first meeting.  Now in some cases this information will be presented at the first meeting as there is little opportunity to present it prior to that first meeting.

So with all of this together, I believe I am ready for my first meeting with this new client on Monday.  And how this job goes will help me determine just how useful this information is.

So here we are, ready a day ahead of when I need to be ready, and all is looking good.

Also, I have been working on the computer that used to be the Rasku Services computer, but as Rasku Services no longer exists, it’s the Reino Rasku computer.  Put a few hours into that, which is really great.  I do some of my development work on that computer, so some of the time I put in is helpful in getting the computer working as well as I can for when I’m here and don’t have my own computer here.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to re-develop this document as it really is designed for someone who thinks very much like myself. Not that this document is going to go away, but I’d like to have something like a 10 page package to hand out to clients when I first meet them to explain to them what I’m doing, with this being one of the pages.

This is just a brief outline of what is involved, it involves 9 major sets in “development” and one major “post development” step (totally optional, but willing to provide that for my clients).

Off of the major steps there are 22 minor steps in development, and 6 in post development, with 2 sub steps in the post development.

I really hope that my clients will look at this and actually be interested in working in this manner. It’s quite possible they will not be as this may look overwhelming.

The reason I’m doing this work is because I am meeting with a client on Monday to start the development process. I don’t know how “well” it will go in terms of schedule, but somehow it will work out, even if I do end up being a week or so late with the development.

The timeline looks a little tight for being able to develop it in a “timely manner,” but it looks like it will be possible, even with the work load of school that I currently have.

That place, The Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences, both the
outpatient clinic, and the student clinic.  I can be freaking out
there and really all they want to figure out is what (to me “natural”)
diagnosis they can provide, and through that how they can treat me.
They don’t tell me “not to worry because there is nothing to worry
about”, unless they can see that as a legitimate therapeutic
intervention.  They don’t question if I’m telling the truth, only ask
more specific questions to get to what they are looking for in terms
of a diagnosis.  They would never contact someone else without telling
me that they are, and why they are doing it.  In other words, they
treat me like a real human being and totally respect me.

I am at the point that I’m honestly looking at going off all my
medications, and doing so very carefully, and slowly, just because the
only thing I *really* see helping me is the Chinese medicine.  And I
honestly think the “western” medicine is countering the Chinese
medicine quite significantly.  I know some people think Chinese
medicine is “bunk”, but I think I have to listen to what works for me,
and that is Chinese Medicine.  The one possibility that has worked in
the past is “low dose” lithium.  Unfortunately there is only one place
in the area that I know where to get it from.

I am also thinking of moving.  Not because I honestly see a better
place for me to get what I need, but because of the fact that other
than the two places that really seem supportive of me as a human,
everything seems to be taking me down.  Wait, there seems to be one
other place that mostly works out that way for me.  That is school.

Anyway, I think I’ll leave this update at this for now.  I’ll catch up

Yesterday I mostly sat at the computer and “accomplished nothing”. Which is fine, as nothing was what I wanted to accomplish in this heat.

It’s entirely too hot. Though it may be a bit cooler today than it was yesterday at this time.

I did try to get AdSense to work, but have had no success with getting it working. Any suggestions?

I also managed to put a little bit more of a dent in my dishes today, which is really good. They didn’t get to the “oh my fucking god why the hell did I leave these this long” state, so that’s pretty cool.

The summer has been really difficult getting things done.  To much time, not enough too do.  It’s meant that I’ve left things to be done “later” which hasn’t worked well at all.

I have created a Art Fire Studio which I think is totally amazing to be able to do. There is not much there now, but I’m really impressed with what the people at Art Fire are doing, and think this is a great place to start with finding out more about online sales.

I have also created a Deviant Art account which has a few more things on it, as I just want to be able to present some of my artwork there. You’ll see stuff that is “ready to print” up there, and while I’d appreciate it if you bought it from me, go ahead and print for yourself.

So that’s a bit of what I’ve been up to. I hope that this sees you well, and that you’ll check things out in time, and maybe even buy things from me.
