Spinning is an almost daily event as it is something that can be done in spare moments. I use wool, silk, cotton, alpaca, dog, mohair, cashmere and other fibres to spin. I like to process much of my wool and buy raw fleece from wonderful producers and then wash, pick, card or comb and spin the fibre. I especially enjoy blending different fibres together to make a unique product. I often use handspun in my woven items. I wash fleeces throughout the summer, so have beautiful fresh wool for sale at these times. It will be carded or combed into easy to spin packages.

Drop in spinning is held each month on the second Thursday from 10:30 onward. Bring a lunch and join the others. I also will get you started on spinning with either a spindle or a wheel as I have several wheels for you to use. I charge a nominal rent if you take it home. The drop in has no charge as I like company.
